My work can be expressionistic in style. I feel that art makes its own statement, never static, always fluid, and ever changing – arriving through the unconscious or dreamlike towards the conscious.
Using canvas or paper, I prime it first with large sweeping stokes of acrylic medium to build up texture, even color, maybe with an idea, or not. Sometimes the images just appear by themselves and through the use of my imagination, I complete the work.Study work can be expressionistic in style.
